Several years ago, I was privileged to learn an amazing interviewing system that changed the way I coach my clients.  As I was obtaining my CEIP (Certified Employment Interview Professional) designation, I knew that I was getting into something BIG.  Since that time, I have had the opportunity to make a tremendous impact on many of my clients by sharing the secrets of this simple, logical, and powerful approach to interviewing.

Just as salespeople learn the value and benefits of their products and services inside and out, so must job seekers if they hope to convince an employer of their worth. Before you can persuade someone why you are the perfect candidate for a particular job, you must first understand why, yourself.

Are you prepared for an interview? Ask yourself these questions:

  • What is your “elevator pitch”? Are you able to succinctly and powerfully communicate your unique value?
  • Do you understand why you would be an asset to an employer?

In other words, do you have a detailed understanding of how you can help an employer solve their problems and reach their goals? Can you demonstrate how you have been able to solve similar problems in the past? Are you able to show an interviewer that you have achieved similar results throughout your career?

Can you skillfully integrate your success stories and assets into the conversation – no matter what questions are asked?

If you think that it is the interviewer’s responsibility to ask the perfect questions to uncover your strengths, then you are not prepared to ace the interview. It is your responsibility to demonstrate your worth, your responsibility to share your achievements, and your responsibility to make sure that you do not leave the interview before you have conveyed your value points. And I will teach you how to do this – no matter what questions the interviewer asks!

This unique system teaches you how to methodically and convincingly present your qualifications, achievements, and competencies in a confident and thorough manner – without bragging or exaggerating!

In the very first session, you will learn:

  • Identifying Your Value Points: Do you know the compelling reasons why you should be considered for a particular job? If you do not have a clear understanding of your value, then it is unlikely you will be able to communicate it to an interviewer. Its important to understand your “story” and the value you bring into a position. I will teach you how to do that!
  • The art of proactive interviewing: Many people practice defensive interviewing, answering direct questions with the primary goal of not making a mistake. Proactive interviewing gives you more control during the interview process, enabling YOU to influence the conversation. I will teach you how to do that!
  • Secrets of tackling sensitive interview questions: Are there areas of your background that you believe are liabilities? There are ways of minimizing the negative impact of problematic areas while accentuating your assets. I will teach you how to do that!
